Last year, we took a deep dive into deconstruction, the tearing apart of God’s perfect design. So what happens after the deconstruction of God’s way in our life? MEconstruction!
MEconstruction says, “What can God do for ME? How do His laws make ME feel? Is an omniscient God’s wisdom a fast-food meal for ME?” In essence, MEcon says, “My kingdom come, my will be done.” God-construction says, “God, Your kingdom come, Your will be done. Thank you for your abundant mercy, for every breath I take.”
In the end, the MEconstruction that serves the self ends up alone and disappointed, desperately scraping this world for validation. God-construction builds on a permanent foundation, holding steady through the storms, satisfied in God’s everlasting truth.
